A
fter nearly two years apart, the
maintenance and reliability industry
finally came back together in
Louisville, KY for the 2021 Reliable
Plant Conference & Exhibition. This year's show
was our 21st Reliable Plant, and we feel it was
the conference's best year yet. Getting to see
familiar faces again and meet so many first-time
attendees this October was the highlight of
2021 for Noria. The conference itself spanned
October 19 – 21, with over 90 exhibitors
showing off the latest tech and more than 60
sessions jam-packed with practical knowledge
and insights.
Pre-Conference
Although the conference officially kicked off on
Tuesday, some attendees came a day early for
pre-conference workshops on Monday, October 18.
These 4-hour sessions went deeper than a standard
session to offer more technical insights and tips
as well as access to some of the top experts in the
field. Attendees often recognize these workshops
as a great way to get started planning a new
initiative or solving a chronic problem
Other workshops this year included "Integrating
Operators into Machine Reliability" led by Ian
McKinnon, "Utilizing Motion Amplification to
Proactively Manage the Damaging Effects of
Looseness in the Plant" taught by Jeff Hay &
Drew Troyer, "Building a Balanced Approach to
He was very
knowledgeable on the
subject, and I bought
his books to learn more!
Great workshop. I would
recommend his class to
everyone!"
