Adjust the interior tube until it is cen- tered coming out the top of the third seg- ment. Slide segment 4 into segment 3, at the same time sliding the interior BT-20 tube through the upper centering ring. Note! You should end up with about 1/4" of the BT-20 tube extended out the top and out the bottom of the centering rings. Nose Cone to Body Fit Dry slide the coupler about halfway into the nose cone assembly. Slide the nose cone with coupler onto the top of the inte- rior body tube assembly. e outside lip of the nose cone should overhang and cover the top edge of the top body segment 4. If the nose cone sits too high, you can shorten the interior tube. It shouldn't take much trimming, if any. When everything fits, carefully slide off the nose cone and mark the coupler/tube edge with a pencil. Slide out the coupler. Apply glue inside the tube and slide the coupler up to the pencil line. Recovery System Feed the Kevlar line out the bottom end of the engine mount. Mark the Kevlar line 8" from the back end of the engine mount tube. Tie on the elastic shock cord at the 8" Kevlar mark. Cut off any excess line. Feed the tied shock cords up through the rocket and out the top.
