JACKSON DESIGN & REMODELING
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
When a newly wedded couple moved into
this home within walking distance of the
beach, they loved the location but knew they
needed more room – they wanted to grow
into a home with a modern farmhouse design
and an open coastal feel. An extensive
whole-home remodel doubled the square
footage and added a second level. The
exterior features a clean, classic farmhouse
design in modern black and white. Inside,
statement lighting and patterned walls
create individual character for each space.
This welcoming retreat by the beach with
chic boho details embraces a California
beach lifestyle.

MN FINE HOMES & REMODELING
OTSEGO, MINNESSOTA
An 1887 home in an established
neighborhood needed major work. On the
interior, the kitchen was moved and the entire
front of the home was reworked to open the
floor plan. The original kitchen was converted
into a main-level bath with curb-less shower
and heated floors, and an addition was built for
the new kitchen. The original screen porch in
front was taken in and the entrance was
re-worked to create a larger family room. The
sun porch above this space was re-framed to
create a heated tile-floored sunroom, and a
four-season porch was added in the rear,
offering another space to spread out into.
