The Miracast receiver allows external multimedia content, including high resolution images and high-definition video, to be wirelessly shared to the primary AV stand via Wi-Fi from any Miracast-enabled bring your own device (BYOD), such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Miracast is an industry standard established by the Wi-Fi Alliance that enables seamless display of multimedia content between Miracast-enabled Wi-Fi devices, even if a Wi-Fi network is not available.
