"I try to source everything fresh – choice meats, fresh vegetables, house-made pasta, house-made soups – and I strive for perfection," David says. "To me, every plate should be even beer than the last one I put out." In addition to his rotation of seasonings and specially-craed sauces, David loves surprising customers with the unexpected. "I add some Southern flair to some items, like shrimp and grits that sold out right away. Creole catfish went over really, really, well," he says. "But I also know how to make a great marinara." Bob's menu also boasts a sizzling 16-ounce ribeye, creamy loaded baked potato soup, and time-tested favorites like the prime rib sandwich and the Reuben. Quench your thirst with an icy beverage like Bob's Bar's signature Caesar. Brews from Harvest Moon out of Belt and Two Basset Brewery out of White Sulphur Springs are always on tap. Evan says he loves seeing the looks on customers' faces when he brings them their meals. "ese are huge portions, and they look so great," he says. "People are really impressed with the flavor, quality, and presentation. No one is going hungry! We just have a lot of happy, satisfied people." And the word is spreading. "People are coming from out of town just to eat up here," Evan notes. "ey tell their friends, and on it goes, so it feels like a lot of good things are happening for Bob's and for Neihart." But David says it isn't just the delicious meals that keep customers coming to Bob's Bar. "I've been here almost a year, and this is just the best place on earth," the new Montana resident says. "It is one of the friendliest atmospheres I've ever been in in my life. People are so giving and have made me feel so comfortable."
