Organizers say the show features the world's largest display of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, accessories, and technologies and offers attendees opportunities to network with peers and review industry literature, case studies, and poster sessions. More than 12,000 attendees are expected, and more than 650 vendors will exhibit over 1,000 product lines. Among the featured goods and services are contract research, development, manufacturing and packaging; facility design, maintenance, engineering, construction, and commissioning; laboratory and testing services; material handling, logistics, and transportation; packaging equipment and accessories; process automation, controls, and monitoring; and raw materials and ingredients. Guided tours of the show floor will be offered to highlight innovative equipment and services. Tours are organized by area of interest, including oral solid dosage, modular construction, inspection and packaging, biomanufacturing, and advanced aseptic technology. Tour times are listed under "Special events" at the show's website; a reservation is required. The conference's educational sessions are grouped into five categories: product development, facility and process design, supply chain, manufacturing and packaging, and regulatory QA/QC.
