Lin said that Internet growth has produced new marketing strategies in their principal wholesale arenas: OEM supplies, OEM equipment, and compatible offerings. He indicated that a "good portion" of their business has shifted to the order/inventory e-commerce Web site they launched last year. "We are definitely seeing more movement online, both by dealers offering direct sales as well as ourselves," Lin said. Besides containing overhead, the goal is to provide a better level of service for their dealers. Lin and his father noted that time and technology has blurred the lines
between the copier and printing worlds, creating new challenges. "As a distributor you have to cater to both sides of the market," Lin said. "That
is why we carry the traditional OEM supplies as well as the printing supplies." In closing, Lin described the company's success philosophy. "We are all about
providing value to the dealers and helping their business grow. If we can achieve that by providing good products, services and inventory, then we will benefit in turn."
