michael jetterassistant coachsecond seasonmemphis, 2007UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS | 19 | 2011 TIGER TENNIS EXPERIENCE Former Memphis men’s tennis player Michael Jetter is serving his second year as a volunteer assistant coach for the Tigers, joining Mark Finnegan as former Tiger tennis players serving as assistants for their former coach Paul Goebel. Jetter works with players individually both on the court and with aspects of their mental game. Jetter, a member of the Memphis men’s tennis team for the 2005-06 season, compiled a record of 6-12 in singles during his one year as a Tiger. Jetter competed at the No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 position for the U of M. In doubles, Jetter teamed with Garrison Pilant to go 9-6 in doubles, the second-best win total of any Tiger doubles team. In his only fall for the Tigers, Jetter had the most success of any member of the Memphis roster, going 8-4. He advanced to the finals of the Middle Tennessee State Fall Invitational. Pilant and Jetter also advanced to the finals of the doubles bracket at the MTSU Fall Invite. COMPLETE BIO
