Santee Lakes is an award winning park! The park was awarded "Large Park of the Year" for two consecutive years and "Plan-it Green Park of the Year" for three consecutive years by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds. The Park of the Year Award recognizes campgrounds that deliver an extraordinary guest experience as a result of all-around excellence in operations, professionalism, marketing, customer service and industry involvement. 2013 and 2014 Large Park of the Year 2013, 2014 and 2015 Plan-it Green Park of the Year 2013, 2014 and 2015 Santee's Best Recreation Santee Lakes hosts a variety of special events throughout the year. These activities bring new and returning visitors to the park.
