Through help from the Pocono Health Foundation, the fundraising extension of PHS, we are able to create more avenues to build a healthier community, such as our new Dale & Frances Hughes Cancer Center. Every year, the Foundation also gives multiple grants to nursing students and organizations that are helping PHS to achieve our vision.

Under the Foundation is the PMC Auxiliary, run by a dedicated group of community volunteers. Their efforts help PHS continually serve and provide for our neighbors and friends.

PHS also works with The American Red Cross, bringing life saving blood to people who need it most. "The American Red Cross recognizes and supports all the great things that Pocono Health System does in our community and for our community," said Maria Elena Geyer, Chief Executive Officer for the American Red Cross Northeastern Pennsylvania Blood Services Region. "Every blood donation makes a difference. The Red Cross and Pocono Health System continue to work together to ensure our region maintains a stable blood supply, providing patients in need a second chance."
