SNAG Election & Voting 2012 BOARD NOMINEES [continued] Sharon Massey Sharon Massey is a resident of Pittsburgh, and is currently the Gallery Director at Slippery Rock University, and adjunct instructor at the Community College of Allegheny County and Waynesburg University. From 2009 until February 2012, Sharon worked at the Society for Contemporary Craft, running the retail sales gallery within the non-profit organization. In addition, she has a dual studio practice, including both one-of-a-kind art jewelry as well as a Pittsburgh-themed production line. Her work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions around the US, Japan, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Sharon is a member of the Pittsburgh Emerging Artist Leaders, a member of the Art Jewelry Forum, and Crafthaus. From 2004 to 2008, Sharon co-managed SNAG's silent auction. She received a BFA from Winthrop University in 1999 and an MFA from East Carolina University in 2006. Pam Robinson Pam Robinson is a Chicago based jewelry designer, craftsperson, educator and founding member of the Chicago Metal Arts Guild. She currently teaches at Loyola University, community outreach through the Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago and Lillstreet Art Center where she is also the Director of Jewelry and Metals. She has a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and studied at The Gemological Institute of America. She has taken numerous workshops over the years. Pam was the first jewelry artist featured through Chicago's Artist Month Program and has received awards for her contribution to the art community. She is a member of multiple metalsmithing organizations and creates custom made wedding rings and one of a kind jewelry. Her work has been published in numerous books and magazines and has been demonstrated on many local television news segments. 32 Voting ends at 12:30 PM on Saturday. Results will be announced at 3:30 Saturday during the Membership Meeting.
