SNAG Election & Voting 2012 Nominations & Elections Committee Nominees (CHOOSE ONE) Michael is currently an artist and Adjunct Jewelry and Metals instructor in Long Beach, California. He received his BFA in 1999, from the University of Illinois, and MFA in 2007 from California State University, Long Beach. Michael has been a member of SNAG since 2004. He has served on the committee for SNAG TV (video exhibition) for 3 years and has assisted as the conference emcee. He is one of the jurors for the 2012 Exhibition in Motion. He has lectured and demonstrated at the Yuma Arts Symposium and the Material Topics Symposium held at ECU in 2011. Michael's work has been published in Metalsmith Magazine's Exhibition in Print, 2009, and is included in the 2012 Lark Book's 500 Rings. He shows his work at Sienna Gallery in Lenox, MA and has participated in many group exhibitions at locations including the Racine Art Museum and the National Ornamental Metals Museum in Memphis. Michael Dale Bernard Susan is a Lecturer in Fine Arts and the Gallery Director at Indiana University Kokomo, Kokomo, IN. She has an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA from Kent State University, both in Jewelry and Metalsmithing. She is active in the jewelry & metalsmithing world by being a curator for such shows as "Topography of Metal" at Tap Studios/Gallery M, Oct 2010 and "Shape" at IUK Gallery, February 2011. She is a member of SNAG (Chair, "On the Verge" Student show 2005 Cleveland Conference), American Craft Council, and Art Jewelry Forum. Her work has been shown in galleries such as: Aaron Farber Gallery, New York, NY; Gallery M, Cleveland, OH, Sienna Gallery, Lenox, MA; Velvet DaVinci, San Francisco, CA and William Busta Gallery, Cleveland, OH. Skoczen was a recipient of an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Grant, 2011. She is married to a woodworker/ceramicist. Voting ends at 12:30 PM on Saturday. Results will be announced at 3:30 Saturday during the Membership Meeting. 33 Susan Skoczen
