The wine—a blend based on Syrah and Carménère—is bottled largely unfiltered and aged in 80% French and 20% American oak. Since its first release, this wine has been well reviewed, their current 2012 release being the best to date. Full-bodied, wel- balanced, with integrated tannins and a long finish, Coyam is a great expression of Chilean terroir and a testament to the care with which they tend their land.
