Teledyne acquires Hanson THOUSAND OAKS, CA— Teledyne Technologies, a multi- market technology company, acquired Hanson Research, Chatsworth, CA. Hanson supplies dissolution testing equipment and other pharmaceutical analyzers. Patheon to acquire Roche facility DURHAM, NC—Patheon will acquire Roche's 300,000-square-foot API manufacturing facility in Florence, SC, expanding its capacity for manu- facturing highly potent compounds. The purchase also adds solid-state chemistry, micronization, and com- mercial spray drying capabilities. Ropack to launch serialization hub MONTREAL, Canada—Ropack Pharma Solutions will open an interna- tional serialization hub here to help pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract packaging companies meet the Drug Supply Chain Security Act's deadline. Products sent to the hub are serialized by Ropack or its contract partners before they enter US or Canadian distribution networks. Catalent to acquire Accucaps SOMERSET, NJ—Catalent plans to acquire softgel manufacturer Accucaps Industries, Windsor, Ontario. Almac to expand facilities in USA, Northern Ireland CRAIGAVON, Northern Ireland— Almac, a pharmaceutical CDMO, will expand its North American and European operations. It will expand its 240,000-square-foot Souderton, PA, facility and lease 26,000 square feet of office space in Lansdale, PA, creating 312 full-time jobs and increasing its sciences, clinical services, clinical tech- nologies, and pharma services. It will also build another lab and office facility at its global headquarters in Craigavon. Glatt opens innovation center BINZEN, Germany—Glatt added an innovation center here where it also houses the sales, services, and project management departments. The innova- tion center allows customers to opti- mize their batch or continuous processes and products and to scale them up to batches as large as 150 kilograms.
