Colorcon collaborates with TruTag on coating with microtags HARLEYSVILLE, PA— Colorcon and TruTag Technologies, Emeryville, CA, agreed to combine Colorcon's coatings with TruTag's edible, sil- ica-based microtags for on-dose product verification. The microtags consist of SiO 2 particles coded with an optical signature that can be read using a smart phone application or TruTag's proprietary reader.
