Dual-blade planetary mixer
Model DPM-150 double planetary mixer is made of sanitary
stainless steel for a dust-tight design and has a working
capacity of 150 gallons. Mixer features two identical blades
that rotate on separate axes as they orbit the mixing zone on
a common axis. In just 36 revolutions, the two blades pass
through every point in the product zone, physically con-
tacting the entire batch. Unit is suitable for one-pot pro-
cesses such as gentle blending of dry powders, liquid mixing
of binders or active ingredient solution, and granulation
drying under a vacuum. Other features include helical
blades, interchangeable jacketed vessels, an electrohydrau-
lic lift, and a recipe control system with a data logger.

Granulators/high-shear mixers
Sejong granulators/high-shear mixers range from the SM-5
pilot-scale unit that handles 1- to 5-liter batches to the
SM-600 unit that processes 600-liter batches. Mixers use a
bottom impeller and a side-mounted variable-speed chop-
per. Units come equipped with an easy-to-use PLC.
Options include an automatic or manual spray system, a
jacketed vessel, ATEX-rated explosion-proof motors, an
automatic CIP system, and an agitator/impeller lifting sys-
