The company, Libertyville, IL, manufactures components for dry bulk material processing equip- ment, pneumatic conveyors, and dust collectors. PRODUCT NEWS Centrifugal sifter sifts solid materials at high rates with no vibration Munsifter centrifugal sifter can sift, scalp, and deagglomerate bulk solid materials at high rates without vibration or degradation. Sifter is fed materials by an auger, which directs the material onto a stationary hori- zontal screen cylinder propelled by rotating paddles against the screen. Sifter's screen apertures allow on-size particles to pass through into a discharge chute and over- size materials to spiral through the cylinder and into a discharge port. Sifter's clean, simple design includes Rembe announces relocation for its US operations Rembe Inc., the US subsidiary of Rembe GmbH in Germany, has announced plans to relocate its US operations from Charlotte, NC, to Lancaster County in South Caro- lina. The company manufactures explosion protection systems, pro- cess safety systems, and dynamic weighing systems for the process industries and plans to invest more than $3.4 million to construct a facility at the Bailes Ridge Corpo- rate Park, located in Indian Land, SC. The investment is projected to create 22 new jobs, and plans call for the new facility to be the com- pany's home office, housing sales, warehousing, and light manufac- turing and assembly operations. The facility is expected to be opera- tional by December 2020. Tecweigh holds semiannual service training In late February, Tecweigh com- pleted its annual 2-day spring service training session at the company's White Bear Lake, MN, headquarters. Attendees repre- senting several of the company's clients gathered to learn more about belt scales, processors, and other components. After discussing equipment operation and the equip- ment manual in classroom sessions, attendees moved into the on-site test center to put their learning into practice. Tecweigh personnel guided attendees through hands-on problem-solving and troubleshoot- ing, answering questions along the way. SUPPLIER NOTES BinMaster teams up with Brazilian manufacturers' rep BinMaster, a division of Garner Industries, has teamed up with Grunn, a Brazilian company that has more than 13 years of expe- rience representing high-quality instrumentation brands in Ger- many and Austria. Grunn, with offices in São Paulo, Brazil, will now also sell BinMaster products man- ufactured in the US. Grunn offers integrated industrial solutions for the agricultural, food, petrochem- ical, pharmaceutical, packaging, cosmetics, glass, mining, chem- ical, furniture, and many other industries. Grunn will offer Bin- Master's level sensors and software, including the 3DLevel Scann er, to Brazilian customers. According to Ligea Ferrarini, product manager at Grunn, there's demand for inven- tory management products in many industries that Grunn works with. BinMaster, Lincoln, NE, is a privately held, independent US manufacturer of point and contin- uous level indicators and inventory management systems used for monitoring bulk solids or liquids in bins, tanks, silos, and hoppers. Camfil APC releases informational video on its dust collector Camfil APC, Jonesboro, AR, a dust and fume collector supplier, has released a video on the X-Flo dust collector. According to the supplier, the unit uses less compressed air because of the collector's cone- shaped filter media and other design factors.
