30 May 2020 Tablets & Capsules Sifters Tru-Balance QA series gravity flow sifters are available in two models that can hold three to nine sieves with a net screen area of 15 to 80 square feet. Sifters use a gen- tle gyratory motion to separate a single product stream into two or more particle size fractions. Tru-Balance drive ensures vibration-free operation, and nest-to- gether sieves conserve valuable plant floor space. Pneumatic sieve compression system and optional lifting clamps simplify maintenance by allowing users to open the machine to a particular sieve rather than requiring each sieve to be removed individually from the top down. Sifters are adaptable to a wide range of products, capacities, separations, and screen sizes. Company offers customization and free lab testing of sifters. Great Western Manufacturing, Leavenworth, KS 913 682 2291 www.gwmfg.com Post lift Post lift for cleaning rooms makes transport and cleaning of sanitary components easy, safe, and convenient for operators. Lifting tray eliminates the need for opera- tors to lift heavy components and carry them to cleaning areas. Wash-down unit allows parts to be cleaned directly on the lift, and slots and tabs in the sanitary clean- ing tray allow parts to hang for drying. Once the cleaning operation is complete, the tray and clean parts can be raised and docked to a drying tree. The lift is pulled away from the tree, and another tray is attached for the next cleaning operation. Post Material Handling, Rock Tavern, NY 845 200 3355 www.posthoist.com Dust collector MCD Whirl Wet dust collector mixes water and collected dust particles and evap- orates the mixture, leaving particulate material at the bottom of the unit for recov- ery and disposal. Unit uses a modular conveyor drag-out system that "drags out" and replaces the full collection module with an empty one when the collected dust reaches a set fill point, allowing operation to continue without interruption during module changes or routine maintenance. Following the initial charge, the system only requires water to be added to compensate for evaporation and drag-out. Energy generated inside the unit does not allow the system to clog under any oper- ating conditions, eliminating agglomeration and sticky residue problems associated with conventional collectors. Dust collector does not use spray nozzles, pumps, and dust bags, which reduces maintenance requirements. Dust collector is up to 99 per- cent efficient in isolating soluble and insoluble materials with particles larger than 3 microns and is suitable for high-dust-load or continuous applications. Collector is stainless steel, is available for capacities ranging from 1,000 to 60,000 cubic feet per minute, and can be supplied alone or with ducting to one or multiple sources.
