Clyde Bergemann Power Group sells material handling business in UK to its company management The Clyde Bergemann Power Group (CBPG) has announced that it has sold Clyde Bergemann Mate- rials Handling Ltd. (CBMH) to further streamline CBPG's global organization and focus on key technologies in line with a new strategic direction. Specializing in materials handling solutions for power and industrial markets, CBMH, Doncaster, UK, was sold to the CBMH management team in an effort to further divest CBPG from materials handling activities and focus on the group's core compe- tencies. In addition, the divesture will ensure a stable future for col- leagues at CBMH. CBMH was sold to CBMH's Stephen Cragg, managing direc- tor, and Miles Ratcliffe, finance director, who both have experi- ence within the industry and with CBPG. The transaction includes the entire business with a few projects remaining that will be completed under the responsibility of CBPG and with support on practical mat- ters by CBMH. Site users will have access to detailed information on each of the company's 25 product SUPPLIER NOTES Camfil APC facility sustains tornado damage Camfil Air Pollution Control's (Camfil APC's) Jonesboro, AR, facility was damaged by an EF-3 tornado on March 28. The company had no employees on-site at the time, so no injuries were reported. According to the company, much of the campus remains fully intact and operational. However, the metal fabrication building was destroyed. The company resumed filter car- tridge production on March 31. To fully restore metal fabrica- tion operations, the company has activated its disaster continuity plan with the support of Camfil AB Stockholm. The multinational company has 30 manufacturing plants and work has already begun on creating a temporary fabrication facility nearby the Jonesboro loca- tion. The temporary facility will be outfitted with state-of-the-art equip- ment that will restore the company to full capacity. The company manufactures dust, mist, and fume collection equipment.
