With former teaching and trade show experience, I feel this role is the perfect fit for me. Where do you live? After borough hopping from Brooklyn to Queens, New York, I now call Long Island City home. I grew up in New York's Hudson Valley and love to escape back home or to Cape Cod whenever possible. What's your fondest food memory? Eating bitterballen and drinking beer by the canals in Amsterdam after getting engaged. Enjoying classic Italian cuisine in the middle of the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve in Belize on our honeymoon is a close second. Do you prefer to eat in or go out? I prefer going out to eat. I absolutely love trying new restaurants and changing up my environment. If I eat in, I am usually not cooking but instead order takeout and watch Jeopardy. I do enjoy baking, though. What's your favorite food city? My favorite food city is Madrid, Spain. The meats, cheeses, cider, wine, and desserts are delicious and often very affordable! The ham and cheese croissant from La Mallorquina makes regular appearances in my dreams. What's one of the strangest things you've ever eaten? As a recovering picky eater, I tend to be informed about the source of my food after consumption. I'm proud to declare that I have enjoyed delicacies like Wagyu beef tongue and a margarita with a black ant salt rim before! Mint chocolate chip ice cream on a sugar cone Strawberry frozen fruit pop
