November 2020 / 51 Brochure offers screener selection advice for engineers, executives Brochure offers advice for speci- fying, justifying, and maintaining screeners offered by the supplier. Brochure covers various types of screeners, such as Type E, Type DA, and Type TW models suitable for solid powders. Type DA screener features a low profile; an integrated feeding device; and extractable and easy to take apart, clean, and change screens. Screener is suitable for conditioning material, for after the introduction of raw materials to the process and at the end of the process before packaging. Brochure also discusses the supplier's Type FLF screener for continuous separa- tion of solids from liquids. 15 pages. AZO, Memphis, TN 901-794-9480 www.azo.com High-pressure rupture disc has longer service life than standard discs High Pressure Rupture Disc (HPRD) is suitable for applications that produce plastics like low- density polyethylene that require demanding process conditions, including high pressures and tem- peratures in reactors, autoclaves, and compressors. Disc's weld seam has been moved out of the pressure-loaded area of the disc, making the burst pressure depen- dent on the material thickness and not on the weld seam's strength. Disc offers precise control over the burst tolerances of ±3 percent and lower. Disc's long-life version for high pressures has a service life 5 to 10 times longer than that of a stan- dard rupture disc. Unit includes a material storage hopper equipped with a pneu- matic vibrator system to assist with material flow. Unit's 24-inch air- actuated gate valve allows material discharge control at the hopper's bottom. Unit features removable side panels and custom knife-guard to enhance operator access and safety during maintenance. Unit's 2-ton chain hoist lifts the bulk bag into the stainless steel discharge hopper where a static two-angle bag-piercing knife assembly emp- ties bulk bags for complete and efficient material discharge.
