Dust collector helps food
processing facilities
with indoor air quality
Gold series X-Flo industrial dust
collector can help food processing
facilities improve indoor air quality
by safely collecting airborne dust
particles to provide a clean work
environment and prevent cross-
contamination of food products.
Collector is suitable for dry food
ingredients like coarse grains, fine
spices, and additives as well as
sticky dusts like sugar and whey.
Collector collects toxic, nuisance,
and combustible food dusts, includ-
ing fine, fibrous, and heavy dust
loads. Collector can capture food
dust at its source using stainless
steel pickup hoods at each produc-
tion station or by directly hooking
to batch mixers or high-velocity
slot hoods behind weigh stations.
Collector can help prevent worker
exposure to airborne contaminants
and keeps dust from travelling
throughout the facility. Collector
helps food facilities exceed OSHA
indoor air quality standards and
meet NFPA and ATEX standards.

Dryer handles heat-sensitive
plant proteins with highly
regulated temperature
AVA Drynamix vacuum dryer
shown is used to dry heat-sensitive
plant proteins, such as almonds,
sunflowers, and quinoa, for human
consumption. Dryer evaporates
and recovers the solvents using a
dynamic drying process where the
material is constantly in motion.
Dryer provides consistent mois-
ture removal that doesn't allow any
pockets of humidity for uniform
drying. Dryer's fully automatic con-
trol system permanently measures
and regulates the temperature,
and once the degree of dryness
is reached, the machine automat-
ically shuts down. Dryer collects
the evaporated solvents and can
return them to the process, saving
resources and capital for sustain-
able operation.
