April 2021 / 55 CASE HISTORY ADVERTISEMENT Issue A customer sent us an enquiry for a solution for moist- ening floriculture and garden use peat. After extended storage in the heat of summer, the peat loses all its humidity and, consequently, weighs less, which is why, the peat needed to be manually moistened on a consis- tent basis; the customer felt this process was inefficient both from a water conservation perspective, but also from a pure cost/time perspective. Solution We solved the problem thanks to DUSTFIX ® 20. We advised the customer to build a simple but effec- tive system, consisting of a stand a hopper and the DUSTFIX ® 20 dust conditioner. Thanks to DUSTFIX ® the end user now saves time by virtually eliminating the human contribution and saves water as well since with DUSTFIX ® the quantity of water injected is consistent and monitored and stays on a per- centage of no more than 5% on the total volume. Previously water was manually added reaching differ- ent quantity percentages which were never less than 15%. With DUSTFIX ® the final product easily reaches the desired consistence and moisture which is what the cus- tomer had been looking for.
