Meadow Lark has earned the reputation of the place to host weddings and social events for the community. There are fourth generation members who grew up at the club, experiencing all that it offers for a family. What has been your biggest challenge? The biggest challenge for the club through the years has been to adapt and change with the times. Years ago, the club was predominately a man's club. This has changed through the years to become a family-centered club. What are your plans for 2021 or in the future to grow and develop your business? In 2021, the focus is on getting back to "normal." The club continues to focus on recreation, with emphasis on golf, swimming, tennis, and pickleball, and the opportunity to promote youth development in these areas. Anything else you would like to share or let people know about your business? Meadow Lark Country Club is by far one of the most reasonably priced country clubs. For what the club offers, the value is unmatched. What have you done to overcome the challenge(s) of 2020? Have you been able to turn any of it into opportunities? How has it changed your way of doing business? During this time of the pandemic, the club has focused on being a safe haven for the members. This has proven itself to be an opportunity for growth in the member experience. Golf, at one point, was one of the few recreational experiences available and the club's growth in golf rounds reflected this.
