Adam Helmer built his dream Allis- Chalmers hobby farm with his wife Julia, his "moo-mate," in Brantwood, Wis. Adam loved wrenching on the equipment, making hay and planting oats for all the animals his wife brought home. He was tragically taken at the age of 50 on May 19, but in his passing, he became a hero - saving five men's lives by donating his organs, and for five more years, his tissue donations will be used to improve lives. His kind nature, smile and joking will be missed, but know he is in heaven, working up a bumper crop of golden wheat with all those Allis- Chalmers tractors and Gleaners that he held dear. Some might say he's resting in peace, but he was a farmer, so his smile are those rays of sunshine on the fields as he swaps stories and jokes with a new crew of Allis- Chalmers enthusiasts. Show it off! We'd all love to see how you're celebrating Allis-Chalmers this show season.
