Only Allis will do on N.Y. farm My grandfather, Jack Mulligan, purchased his first Allis-Chalmers in 1963 from a retiring neighbor. It was a D17 with very low hours. Every tractor purchased since then has been an Allis, and no Allis has ever left our farm. In these pictures I took this spring, my father Jim Mulligan can be seen plowing with our 7020 and culti-mulching with his favorite tractor, his 200. I used our 7045 on the disc. One day while dad and I were picking rock the old-fashioned way with our WD and stone boat, our neighbor Tom Winn brought his WC up to help us. Dad used the WD to broadcast peas and oats for a cover crop and then broadcast grass seed with the 6080. By Michael Mulligan, Lebanon, N.Y. 14 OLD ALLIS NEWS
