I want to thank you for printing the story my wife Joan wrote about my love for A-C tractors. I had no idea she had done this 'til I got my Old Allis News. The sad news is she passed away the week before I received my copy. We had a good trip to the GOTO in New York and went to Niagara Falls the Sunday after the show. Thanksgiving week, we found out that she had three major blockages in her heart. She never had any chest pains. She had a heart transplant on Feb. 16, and it was a good heart. Her kidneys, pancreas and other organs did not recover from the surgery, and she passed on April 20 after being in the hospital for 97 days. Thank you for listening to me, and hopefully I will see you this summer. Sam Thornton, Monticello, Ga. 49 OLD ALLIS NEWS
