Something for everyone and do at Midwest GOTO's By Old Allis News staff By all accounts, both national Gathering of the Orange events this past summer were resounding successes, with large turnouts of both Allis-Chalmers equipment and attendees and participants. The GOTO in Penfield, Ill. (pictures on Page 32) drew a wide variety of tractors and memorabilia, including toolboxes, moisture testers and rare dealership displays. Some 250 tractors alone were reported on the grounds. Outdoor power products and stationary engines were highlighted at the GOTO in Wilmington, Ohio, in September. Those who made the trip were rewarded with an interesting variety, from mini bikes to golf caddies. As far as stationary engines, they could view everything from two-cylinder power units to 12-cylinder. Photos by Old Allis News staff 33 OLD ALLIS NEWS
