Allises stay active all summer long From baling to tractor pulling to attending shows, Old Allis News Facebook followers kept their Allis-Chalmers tractors and equipment busy this summer, and many of them responded to our request for pictures, starting with our own picture of hay going down near Rice Lake, Wis., at right. Ben Frey sent in the photo below. Inset photos at right came from Brice Kahler Armentrout. Scott Davis brought the tractors above left to the GOTO in Penfield, Ill., and the 180 to Hutchinson, Minn. Ben Dehart posted the pictures at right of an 8030 pulling a Brent 320 cart for wheat and a 190 XT Series III used to mow and ted hay, then haul bales back to the farm. Above photos were supplied by, from left, James Durbin, Alexander Butz and Matthew Dewitz. Photos below were provided by Luke Fierbaugh; Joel Greeno from the Coulee Antique Engine Club Show in Westby, Wis.; and Matt Megel. 40 OLD ALLIS NEWS
