Jodi Grant BIO
Jodi Grant is every head coach's wish. She is an assistant coach whose talent goes beyond any boundaries. Grant has been a part of the women's soccer program since its inception in 1995. Along with head coach Brooks Monaghan, Grant has led the Lady Tiger program to four- straight Conference USA Championship titles and its first four NCAA College Cup appearances.
A native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada, Grant enters her 12th season as a full-time assistant coach with the Lady Tigers in 2011. Prior to that, she served as a graduate assistant coach for one season and as a volunteer assistant coach for a year. Grant has been a great recruiter in Canada, as Memphis has brought in several Canadians over the past few years.
Grant first came to the University of Memphis as a player on the inaugural Lady Tiger squad in 1995.In her four seasons in the Blue and Gray, Grant tallied 94 points, 33 goals and 26 assists, setting then program records in points and goals. She was the first women's soccer player entered into the M Club Hall of Fame.
