Ellis saw action in all 18 games, starting 15, and played over 1,000 minutes in his first season. Ellis scored his first-collegiate goal in the Tigers' 3-2 win at Belmont. Aſter receiving a pass from Mark Sherrod, Ellis punched in his second goal of the season at SMU. The final goal of the season for the forward came on a free-kick from 20-yards out in Memphis' 4-3 overtime loss to UCF in the quarterfinals of the Conference USA Tournament. In all, Ellis tallied three goals and six assists on the sea- son. The six assists trailed only Liam Collins for the most on the team.
