She was a lover, full of kisses for all she adored—even strangers. Melody always wanted to be assured that she welcomed strangers. Sheeba S heeba certainly stands out in a crowd. This 8-year-old Chinese Crested spends her days at Suds 'N Scissors in the Crossroads Shopping Center in Carmel. "She's a living, breathing billboard," store manager and Sheeba's owner Renae Crevalle says. When the whistle blows, however, Renae and Sheeba hit the town, appearing at all major events. "Everywhere we go, people want their photo taken with her…she has photos with lots of celebrities," Crevalle says. With all that attention, one would think Sheeba might be a bit snobbish, but nothing could be further from the truth. She accepts accolades calmly, and is highly accepting of all people and animals.
