She previously served as general manager for the company's Woodstock, IL, facility. supplier news Shin-Etsu adds Gamlen compaction analyzer WIESBADEN, Germany—Shin- Etsu, a supplier of cellulose ether excipients, purchased a Gamlen D series powder compaction analyzer (PCA) for use in its application labo- ratory here. Shin-Etsu will use the instrument to assess the performance of its excipients and improve techni- cal support for customers. Natoli opens site in Poland PILICHOWO, Poland—Natoli Engineering, St. Charles, MO, opened Natoli Poland, a service and distribu- tion facility here. The 4,000-square- foot facility offers equipment demon- strations, technical training, tablet press parts, and tool polishing and reworking services. Grzegorz Grzybowski was named executive manager. Thomas Packaging adds stick pack, serialization equipment ROLLING MEADOWS, MO— Thomas Packaging was named exclu- sive distributor of Tepack, Lixis, and Verifarma equipment in the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Tepack, Barcelona, Spain, supplies stick pack and pouching machines. Lixis and Verifarma, both based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, offer track-and-trace serial- ization systems.
