Broad application As the product underwent devel- opment, it became clear that it was applicable to dozens of foods and beverages, and it has been incorpo- rated into multiple channels of the food industry. ClearTaste also caught the attention of the dietary supple- ment industry, and the pharmaceuti- cal industry is evaluating it as a novel excipient. While making unpalatable medica- tions taste better using bitter-blocking excipients is simple enough to do, ClearTaste is the only option that offers a natural excipient that is USDA-certified organic. Thanks to consumers' interest in natural ingredi- ents and the "clean label" trend, many companies have adopted ClearTaste as a "tool" for their flavoring processes.
