Catch you in the Reptile House this winter at Melbourne Zoo! the World of frogs Also part of the Reptile House is the fascinating World of Frogs exhibit, showcasing the incredible conservation work being undertaken by our dedicated reptile keepers. Hear the survival stories of the Southern Corroboree Frog, the Baw Baw Frog, the Spotted Tree Frog and the Stuttering Frog – four local species Zoos Victoria has committed to protecting from imminent extinction. Sadly this story is not unique, with frogs species around the globe experiencing rapid population decline due to Amphibian Chytrid Fungus – a disease thought to have originated in Africa. Currently there is no cure for this deadly disease. You can learn more about their unique stories in the World of Frogs exhibit, just adjacent to the Reptile House at Melbourne Zoo. ››› DID YOU KNOW?
