On the field, Memphis athletics continue to compete with the best in the nation. Among the recent highlights, the football team has gone to bowl games in five of the last eight years, and the women´s soccer team has won four-straight Conference USA Championships. The Tiger men´s basketball team has reached the NCAA Sweet 16 in four of the last six seasons, and made the Elite Eight three times during the span. The soſtball and men’s golf teams received invitations into the NCAA Tournament in 2011, and the men´s soccer team won the C-USA Championship in 2004.
