Melissa Smith rebounded from season- ending injury suffered in her junior season and played in 12 matches in 2010. She provided the game-winner in Memphis' fourth-straight C-USA Tournament final. Smith played in six matches in 2009 before going down with a season-ending injury. She played in 18 matches in her sophomore campaign and provided three goals and an assist. Smith had five goals and four assists her freshman season in 15 starts.
