Measurement with minimum
sample requirements
The HORIBA PowderJet accessory
for the LA-960 Laser Particle Size
Analyzer has set a new record for min-
imum sample requirement by mea-
suring the particle size distribution of
several dry powders using less than 10
milligrams per run. The materials
varied in size from 300 nanometers to
20 microns. For applications with
high material costs, this breakthrough
can provide significant savings while
maintaining accuracy and precision.
Using innovative hardware design,
complete automation and refined
software controls, the vertical design
of the HORIBA PowderJet ensures
the entire sample is delivered through
the measurement zone.
