The 6th Medicon Valley Inhalation Symposium and Workshop will take place October 11-13, 2017 at Medicon Village in Lund, Sweden. Participants may register for either or both events. A confer- ence dinner will also be held on the evening of October 11. The MVIS Symposium e symposium begins the morning of October 11 and continues through early afternoon on October 12. Its theme will be "Future Opportunities of Inhalation." A variety of topics will be featured i n c l u d i n g c o n n e c t e d h e a l t h , formulation development, pre- clinical and toxicology, clinical trials, new opportunities and regulatory, and trends in inhaled delivery. Designed for those who are new to inhalation, it will cover multiple topics including a devices overview; DPIs and MDIs; drug discovery with a focus on pre-clinical pharmacology and compound design; inhalation toxicology; formulation aspects for DPIs and liquids; selecting a device; testing (with a demonstration) and clinical aspects of early-phase development. The 4 th International TB Meet- ing, "Inhaled erapies for Tuber- culosis and Other Infectious Dis- ease: Products, Technologies and Procedures for Efficiently Treating Pulmonary Diseases" will be held October 16-17 in Durham, NC, US.
