"Looking into the Lung: Evaluating Toxicity of Inhaled Therapeutics" will be the theme of The Association of Inhalation Toxicologists' Annual Meeting, October 26-27, 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The meeting will include presentations, posters, a technology exhibit and a conference dinner in historic Tivoli. In addition, on October 25, attendees may tour the Ellegaard Göttingen Minipig facility. Featured topics P r e s e n t a t i o n s w i l l f o c u s o n : inhaled biologics including their formulations, safety margins, immune reactions, pathology and regulatory issues; aerosol character- ization and measurements; formu- lation development; pre-clinical planning; novel excipients; dosing with limited solubility; nanomate- rials; and minipigs. Each exhibitor will give a two-minute presenta- tion during a session titled "Tech- nology on the Pitch." In addition, NC3R's Inhalation Translation CRACK-IT Challenge will discuss their background, recent progress and regulatory feedback.
