RBS designs and manufactures equipment for size reduction, classification, and thermal processing in the US, India, and Brazil. Mettler Toledo partners with Sotax SCHWERZENBACH, Switzer- land—Mettler Toledo, an analytical lab instrument manufacturer, and Sotax, a dissolution testing supplier headquartered in Aesch, Switzerland, have announced a partnership to market and sell a dissolution system t h a t i n t e g r a t e s M e t t l e r ' s U V 7 spectrophotometer with Sotax's Xtend dissolution line. TruTag partners with Tag-it Tech to guard cannabis supply chain E M E R Y V I L L E , C A — T r u T a g Technologies, a manufacturer of product authentication and brand security devices, will partner with technology firm Tag-it Tech, Seattle, WA, to increase security and trace- ability in the North American cannabis market. TruTag's edible taggants will be integrated with Tag- it's blockchain tracking system, providing visibility and auditability to the cannabis supply chain. Catalent completes Missouri facility expansion, to expand New Jersey HQ KANSAS CITY, MO—Catalent Pharma Solutions, a pharmaceutical CDMO, has completed a $5.5 million expansion of its Kansas City f a c i l i t y , i n c r e a s i n g t h e s i t e ' s controlled-substance and controlled- temperature storage capabilities for clinical supply. The expansion includes a DEA Schedule I and II controlled substance vault that increases storage capacity by 3,600 square feet as well as 450 pallet locations and 500 high-density storage locations. A sampling room was also installed along with an emergency generator to safeguard samples in storage. In other news, Catalent plans to expand its Somerset, NJ headquarters by adding a drug development center of excellence for preclinical to c l i n i c a l p h a s e 2 b f o r m u l a t i o n , analysis, and manufacturing of orally delivered small molecules. PCI opens contained packaging facility W A L E S , U K — P C I P h a r m a Services, a contract packaging manufacturer, has opened a contained packaging facility for the primary and secondary packaging of highly potent products at a new site in Dublin, Ireland. The company acquired the facility from Millmount Healthcare and has since added about 30 positions at the site and anticipates adding more than 100 additional jobs over the next five years.
