Unit delumps dried or hygroscopic materials and has a large inlet that allows the direct discharge of compacted materials from 50-pound sacks or bulk bags without the need for an intermediate controlled feed mechanism. Unit comes stan- dard with a shaft supported at both ends for high-load appli- cations, or with an optional cantilevered shaft to improve access and ease cleaning for lighter-duty applications. Lump breaker has interlocking bolted or hinged side and end doors for easy access to interior components; a high-torque gear-reduced motor; interchangeable rotors; and easy-to- change grinding screens mounted on a pull-out cradle.
