The report predicts that the total installed base of AI-enabled devices in indus- trial manufacturing will reach 15.4 million in 2024, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 64.8 percent from 2019 to 2024. Industrial manufacturing's imple- mentation of AI is unique because manufacturers require data secu- rity and want the AI workloads to be processed on devices, gateways, and at on-the-premises servers. This means that AI chipset manufacturers and server vendors have designed AI-enabled servers specifically for industrial manufacturing. Despite the availability of data in the manu- facturing environment and solutions to analyze that data, AI hasn't been completely used to its full potential by industrial clients — predictive maintenance and equipment mon- itoring have been the services most implemented on a commercial level. For these two end uses, analysts expect that 9.8 million and 6.7 mil- lion installations will be performed by 2024, respectively. However, when considering installation numbers, it's important to remember that many of these AI-enabled industrial devices support multiple use cases on the same device. The report also covers the use of AI in defect inspection, as the technology can be used to perform surface, leak, and component-level defect detection, microparticle detection, geometric measurement, and classification. Conventional machine vision technology remains popular in manufacturing facto- per capita incomes. These countries' governments are also implementing policies to attract foreign invest- ments in the mining and manufac- turing sectors. These sectors are the primary reasons why conveyor belts, mainly used for material-handling purposes, will experience growth during the forecast period. Conveyor belt products can increase productiv- ity in industries, including mining, cement production, steel and iron production, and others. The rising demand for various commodities around the world, including iron ore, coal, and copper, is also expected to drive conveyor belt market growth in the near future. Market demand for convey- ing belts is expected to be hin- dered by high maintenance costs from mechanical damages and wear and tear. The large capi- tal investment required to setup manufacturing facilities may also discourage new companies from investing in the market. Taking materials into consider- ation, the demand for polymer con- veyor belts is predicted to remain high because the material pro- vides impact resistance and tensile strength. The report forecasts that this segment will witness a 3.5 per- cent growth from 2019 to 2025. In terms of industries, the food and beverage industry is anticipated to have the fastest growth, with packaged food demand driving the segment to a 4.5 percent CAGR during the forecast period. AI-enabled technology in industrial manufacturing expected to grow dramatically through 2024 The report Industrial AI Market Tracker by ABI Research examines the forecast period. The report Con- veyor Belts Market Size by Material (Metal, Polymer [Polyester, Nylon]), by Product (Flat Belt, Modular Belt, Cleated Belt), by Installation (Portable, Station- ary), by Application (Light-Weight, Medium-Weight, Heavy-Weight), by End-Use (Mining, Food & Beverage, Power Generation, Recycling, Supply Chain, General Manufacturing), Indus- try Analysis Report, Regional Outlook (U.S., Canada, Germany, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Russia, China, India, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait), Growth Potential, Price Trends, Competitive Market Share & Forecast, 2019-2025 by Global Market Insights states that developing nations are observing robust industrialization because of huge consumer bases with rising
