PEOPLE NEWS Bühler has promoted Yannick Gaechter to Food Application Cen- ter director within the company's North American business opera- tions in Plymouth, MN, effective January 1, 2020. Gaechter is cur- rently an international manage- ment trainee-CEO and previously worked at Hilti Tools after complet- ing his master's degree in entre- preneurship. In his new role, he'll report to Andy Sharpe, president and chief executive officer, North America. Gaechter will work with the North American regional team to meet business and utilization targets for the Food Application Center (FAC). This includes busi- ness development in terms of iden- tifying new potential applications, products, and business models and bringing them to market. He'll also set priorities for the FAC workflow and manage, coach, and support the teams operating the FAC.
