INDUSTRY NEWS New CSB chair confirmed, other board member resigns The US Senate confirmed Kath- erine Lemos as CEO and chair of the Chemical Safety Board (CSB) in April. The addition of Lemos was followed by the resignation of the only other board member on May 1. While only having one board member, the CSB is unable to hold a quorum. The board can have up to five members, but other appointees have yet to be made by President Donald Trump. Lemos is employed by Northrop Grumman as the director of pro- grams for its aerospace division. She has also worked at the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
