Pruv sodium stearyl fumarate is a lubri-
cant with hydrophilic properties that
eliminate problems associated with
magnesium stearate, such as API-
incompatibility, over-lubrication, and
film formation in effervescent tablets.
Excipient enhances bioavailability of
certain APIs and improves tablet hard-
ness, dissolution rate, and API stability
compared to other lubricants. It speeds
formulation development and scale-up
and protects against over-blending dur-
ing processing.
