Tabletting training and services Natoli Institute for Industrial Pharmacy Research and Development offers hands- on training in all aspects of tablet manufacturing. It also provides resources to com- mercial operations, including new-product manufacturing studies, tablet tooling evaluations to resolve sticking and picking, and formulation assistance. Areas of expertise include characterizing powders and predicting how they will perform dur- ing tablet compression. Courses in 2016 will address excipient selection, formulation development, hot-melt extrusion, and tablet press operation. Continuing education credits are provided. You can load as many as 100 tablets into carousel for automated testing; alignment system automatically orients tablets for all directional measurements before hardness testing. Test data can be evaluated and printed immediately or exported to external computer. Tester cleans tablet fragments from all contact surfaces of hardness station after each measurement.
