Ackley Machine One Pass-Print One Side, Inspect Both Sides Ackley Machine Corporation offers a new Cantilever Ramp Printer with Vision Inspection that can be used for quality offset printing and print, tablet quality and color inspection. It offers the ability to print a tablet on one side and performs high resolution inspection of both sides of the tablet in a single pass. Both print- ing and inspection are done with pixel precision based on Ackley's proprietary singulating and orienting capabilities. This new Cantilever Printer with Vision Inspection features: • Fail safe synchronized tablet vacuum ejection drum system for single tablet rejection with reject verification • Quick-release carrier bars for easy change-over to other products • Safety interlocked machine guarding • A high intensity programmable LED light source • Adjustable vision system parameters from a digital 17" color touch-screen monitor • Adjustable feed angle insures optimum fill rate for all products • Discharge chute with separate outlets for accepted/rejected tablets • A PLC motion controller • A servo-drive system with optical encoder speed and position feedback • An industrial computer for vision / HMI control system with user name / password log-on for four settable user access levels • Batch counters for total product, reject product and batch run time and a global counter for total machine run time The unit is FDA 21CFR Part 11 compliant. Power requirements are: 230 VAC 3 phase 50/60 Hz 40 Amps. Air supply is: 100 psi (6.89 bar) 70 cfm (1.98 m3/min).
