With Easter just around the corner and summertime a distant memory, our plans for 2018 are
well underway.
In February we launched a brand new community conservation campaign in partnership with
RSPCA all about responsible pet ownership. With feral cats one of the biggest problems for our
native wildlife, responsible cat ownership has never been so critical. The campaign Safe Cat, Safe
Wildlife offers cat owners lots of tips and tricks to keep your cats happy and healthy but most
importantly to keep them safe indoors.

And finally, if you haven't had the time to check out the new Kangaroo Country experience at
Healesville Sanctuary then I strongly recommend a visit to the Yarra Valley. The experience begins
in the treetops of Koala Forest with the boardwalk meandering down and into the habitats of our
Red Kangaroos, Forest Wombat, Kangaroo Island Kangaroos and finishing in the tropics with the
Tree-kangaroos. It's a stunning experience and one that is perfect for a Sunday afternoon with
friends or family.
Looking forward to seeing you in autumn!
