Check out the latest animal happens at your zoos. + 36 Orange-bellied Parrot breeding season is off to an excellent start with 36 chicks fledged from the nest at Healesville Sanctuary – making it one of our best breeding seasons yet! Melbourne Zoo welcomed a brand new Tasmanian Devil named Lloyd. The handsome five-year-old moved from Dubbo Zoo into his new home, part of Carnivores' Trail. We have a brand new female Przewalski Horse named Saikhan at Werribee Open Range Zoo. The gorgeous Koala joey finally has a name: Koreen, which is Wurundjeri for thunder. The cute furball is now visible, cuddling with mum Emily most days at Healesville Sanctuary. It's been a star-studded summer with Rafael Nadal, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness, Kevin Pietersen and Venus Williams visiting our zoos! HELLO my name is Saikhan HELLO my name is Koreen Keepers at Healesville Sanctuary are celebrating after successfully breeding the first Guthega Skink! The Guthega Skink is one of our 21 priority threatened species due to their endangered status.
